OUR STORY
How this started
My kids needed more support than what they were getting in school but I also wanted more time with them. The rush in the morning and the rush in the afternoon wasn’t cutting it.
We became closer as a family with homeschooling.
What Year 1 Looked Like
Year one was a lot of figuring out what worked and how my kids learned best. You have to be flexible and willing to change things up. What works for 1 kid won’t necessarily work for all.
Some of my kids are neurodivergent, so we’re a neurodivergent friendly homeschool!
What I believe
My #1 opinion about homeschooling that I would die on a hill for is that you don’t have to recreate school at home.
Every child learns at their own pace; don’t compare them to where other kids are, and they will learn it when they’re ready.
